Our Story

Once upon a time........

In 2008, Mark Ferguson identified a niche market, and so developed a business offering testing, inspection and maintenance of building fire assets to owners of residential and commercial buildings.  Thus, history was made and Gold Coast Fire Protection Services Pty Ltd was born.

Eight years on, following the passing of Mark, and later the decision to focus solely on their other business,  Gold Coast Fire Protection Services Pty Ltd was sold in 2016.  For over 8 years the Gold Coast Fire Protection Services legacy had been operating and continued to be supported by a talented team, and hundreds of clients. 

The legacy continues today with Gold Coast Fire Protection fully equipped with the necessary resources to provide efficient and reliable services to clients in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Northern NSW and its surrounding areas.  Still operating as a small family owned business, Gold Coast Fire Protection (GCFP) is a company that pride themselves on their workmanship and customer service.

GCFP -  aim to provide specialist fire protection services to the building industry including commercial, industrial and residential sectors.

GCFP -  undertake all aspects of fire services including testing and maintenance of all fire assets and devices, update and replacement of fire systems and appliances, and fire safety compliance services.

GCFP -  work collaboratively with building owners and managers to ensure that planned and systematic inspection and testing of fire assets are implemented and maintained.

GCFP -  are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to cater for any emergency situation.

GCFP -  provide site quotations at no charge.
